The Directory's per-department Select used to switch the whole list into select mode with nothing checked, and read "Done" until pressed again. It now checks every member that department is showing (the search and the All / Online / Offline strip decide who) and lets go of anyone checked outside it. It always reads Select, and is disabled for that department alone while the selection is exactly those rows; unchecking one, checking someone elsewhere, or a filter that shows different rows brings it back. The viewer's own row is left out: a group chat or meeting they start includes them anyway, and a meeting would otherwise send them a chat invite to itself. Disabled with aria-disabled so a keyboard user keeps focus inside the panel's trap, and dimmed with opacity because .operator-label's color is !important under tailwind's `important: true`.
