uploadDocument refuses an upload whose claimed MIME type disagrees with what it detects from the bytes, and saveAsNewDocument claimed the type of the row it was branched from. The editor converts before it uploads, so saving a spreadsheet as a PDF really does send PDF bytes — every format-changing Save As was refused as a mismatch and reached the editor as the same 500. This is the other half of the rename path: the document-name field only calls RenameFile when the extension is unchanged, and sends anything else through Save As.
