The previous attempt raised specificity, which was the wrong diagnosis: tailwind.config.js sets `important: true`, so every declaration in .operator-label ships as !important and no sx rule wins without one of its own. The hero kicker and the three readout labels stayed dark on the dark gradient. The same defect was silently dropping the family accent from the deck panel eyebrows on the light cards, where it read as wrong rather than unreadable.
