- Add null/empty checks for fieldId before calling trim().toLowerCase() to prevent NullPointerException - Add comprehensive validation for required fields (fieldType, title, fieldId) with clear error messages - Add field ID format validation in createForm/updateForm methods as double-check - Improve error messages to include field context - Trim title field as well for consistency Fixes issue where form creation fails with NullPointerException when fieldId is null or empty.
