The translation lookup for non-en locales was unconditionally overwriting description with **************** which is null when: - the translation was saved before description translation completed New commits have translation records (created by retry scheduler); old commits don't. So old commits showed their description and new ones didn't. Fix 1 (endpoint): only replace description with translated value if non-null. Fix 2 (listener): fall back to English description when translateService doesn't return a translated description for a commit that had one.
