Removes the corner-fading sheen added in 70d068c and 6810799 in full: both spinning layers, the conic gradients, the ring and envelope masks, and the extra z-index band they needed. app/globals.css and app/layout.tsx are restored byte-for-byte to 4a6ad5b, so the pane and the ribbon are untouched — the gap is plain again and nothing on the page animates that did not animate before. Not wanted on the screen.
