Punches will reference an ASSIGNMENT, not a member. That is what makes concurrent positions, the 29 CFR 778.115 weighted-average regular rate, multi-site jurisdiction and job costing expressible at all. managerMemberId is snapshotted from TeamMember.manager at revision time so a reorganisation cannot rewrite who approved what. The roster finder is deliberately not built on member_rights_applied: that query is TeamMember-typed, so it omits grant-all org owners and returns nothing for a TERMINATED member whose applied rights were stripped -- precisely the person whose final timecard HR still has to produce.
