Class-based overflow-x-auto on the shadow host wasn't reliably winning against the shadow ':host { all: initial }' reset, so wide email content (fixed-width tables) was visually painting past the host's layout box and causing the 3-column-wide horizontal scrollbar. Switch to inline styles (highest author cascade) with explicit width: 100% (not auto) so intrinsic shadow content can't expand the host, and add contain: layout to fully isolate shadow tree layout from the light DOM. The host now reliably acts as a fixed-width scroll container for wide email bodies.
