Adds MANAGER_ID to member_team_member, a nullable self-reference for the reporting line. Nothing is backfilled: no manager is a complete answer, both at the top of the chart and for anyone simply unassigned. The DROP DEFAULT is the load-bearing statement, not the ADD COLUMN — ddl-auto: update creates the column first. A join column to Member, whose id is INT8 DEFAULT unique_rowid(), inherits that default unless the entity pins columnDefinition, which would stamp every existing row with a random manager id. The orphan and self-reference sweeps clear ids that a defaulted column would already have written.
