Search shows one icon per site and takes the largest one declared, apple-touch-icon included, so the 180px touch icons (ours and the theme's) outranked everything else. A 192px apple-touch-icon now outsizes both. Its pixels are the 96px green-tile mark doubled exactly, so Google's downscale gives back the original. Tabs keep favicon.ico, iOS keeps the exact 180 match for the home screen, and no logo on the page changes. Browser new-tab tiles that want the biggest icon will pick this one up.
