Both @ColumnDefault("now()") and columnDefinition="TIMESTAMP DEFAULT now()" made Hibernate emit 'TIMESTAMP DEFAULT now() default now()', which CockroachDB rejects (multiple default values) — the mlos_config_change_log table never got created by KI. columnDefinition carries the default alone (BaseUuidEntity pattern).
