Selecting Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace / Zoho only navigated to the connect screen without saving, so leaving before completing OAuth reverted to the previous provider. Persist the selection on confirm (backend records it as PENDING_SETUP); the OAuth callback later flips it to ACTIVE.
