A line that opts into the quote's shared 'Seats / units' driver is priced against it, not against its own quantity. The editor's live rail summed the lines without applying the driver — and did not even list quantity among the memo's dependencies — so typing a new seat count moved neither the subtotal nor the total. The figure only corrected itself on save, from the server, which computes it correctly. This was the third copy of that arithmetic. It is now one exported helper, previewLineTotalWithQuantity, shared by the rail and the print preview and mirroring QuoteTotals.lineTotal(line, sharedQuantity) — the copy that quietly omitted the driver is exactly how a field stops reacting at all.
