Both files are uniformly CRLF and my previous commit rewrote them through Python in text mode, which reflowed every line: Theme.tsx showed 237 changed lines and PublicProvider.tsx 75, when the actual edits are 58 and 13. The content was already correct — this is line endings only, and the diff against the pre-change baseline is now just the edits. The same trap caught the session-cookie migration earlier. Files that are CRLF have to be rewritten as BYTES, and the tell is a diff far larger than the change; --stat is worth reading before committing a scripted edit.
