FreePBX and Teams told a member to add an SMS provider under Phone → Providers. That was complete advice until numbers gained their own text route; now adding a provider changes nothing on its own, because no number points at it yet. Somebody following the old sentence ends up with a text provider configured, texting still not working, and no reason to think they are one screen away. Both messages, and the interface default every future provider inherits, now name both steps. FreePBX's matters most: an org answering calls on FreePBX while a carrier carries the texts for the same DIDs is the organization this whole layer was built for. Teams also stopped listing the providers by name. That roster was already one short the day Telnyx was added, and a stale list in a sentence shown to a member is worse than no list — the test now asserts it stays absent.
