The compose identity took fromAddress.id at its word: E1's send and E4's render check the From's address and the sending mailbox, never the id, so a member could put a department's or the company's mailbox id beside their own address and wear that department's or the company's signature and logo (SP98-F-7). The id is now honoured only as a mailbox of the caller's organization that **************** allows; otherwise it is ignored and the From address decides, as it does without an id. An id that names no department or company mailbox is looked up nowhere, since it cannot change the scope.
