NewMailAnnouncer's 30-minute Date-header gate, there for IMAP IDLE reconnect replays, also dropped Dovecot push arrivals, which report a delivery (MessageNew) and never replay. Mail delivered late (a moderated list, a queued retry, a skewed clock) raised no NEW_EMAIL, and an AI member woke only at the reconcile (SP98-F-10). The phone push's own 30-minute guard dropped the same arrivals for the same reason. An IDLE listener's email.inbox.* notification now carries origin IMAP_IDLE, and both gates apply only to those. A Dovecot push notification carries no origin and is byte-for-byte what it was, so a pod that predates the field still reads nearly every arrival during the rollout; EmailNotification also ignores unknown fields from now on, so the next field added cannot lose an arrival that way.
