The composer files a meeting under whatever its From said, an alias or a shared mailbox, and that address is the ORGANIZER in every ics. But updates, cancellations and moved-instance notices all left from the organiser's own mailbox, so a guest invited by sales@ heard about the change from dana@, outside the invitation's thread, and a calendar that checks the sender against the organiser could treat it as not the organiser's to make. OrganiserAddress resolves the From for those letters: the event's organiser address while the organiser may still send as it (the same canSendAs the composer's From picker is held to), else their own mailbox, so the guest still hears from the person who made the change. A deleted meeting now sends the organisation's branded cancellation letter (calendar.meeting_canceled), snapshotted before the delete like the rest of the notice. A guest merely taken off a meeting that is still going ahead keeps the plain notice: "this meeting has been cancelled" would be untrue for them.
