livekit-sip answers an offer with the codec it ranks highest, not the first one offered (media-sdk sdp.SelectAudio: G722 -5 > PCMU -10 > PCMA -20). With allow=!all,g722,ulaw,alaw every AI call negotiated G722/8000 on the LiveKit leg (livekit-sip log, all four of Luna's calls on 2026-09-29), while a phone caller's leg is G.711. Asterisk bridged the two through codec_g722's 8 kHz mode (g722 -> slin@8000 -> ulaw), and callers heard a robotic voice. Reordering to ulaw,alaw,g722 would not help, since LiveKit ignores the order, so the AI endpoint now offers ulaw,alaw only: both legs are G.711 and Asterisk passes the audio through untranscoded.
