The owner signed in on login.kamouniverse.com with the brand's new address and was told "User does not exist". The account's address is Sage@KamoCRM.com. Since the brand move, mail to x@kamouniverse.com is delivered to the x@kamocrm.com mailbox, so a member naturally types the new address, but every account still carries the address it was created with. PlatformEmailTwins resolves an address whose domain is a platform apex to the same local part on every platform apex, the typed address first. Both sign-in paths (host-independent and host-scoped) try the twins, in that order, for the account email, the Primary-mailbox fallback and the work-email fallback. An account that really has the typed address always wins, and a twin is tried only when the typed address matches nothing. Authorization does not change: the twin's account still passes every gate and its own password. An address on any other domain is only itself.
