KubeVirt's console runs Xorg's VESA driver (RandR 1.1, no named output), so xfdesktop keys the AI desktop's backdrop by index, monitor0, and never read the monitorVirtual-1 key the screen guard kept. The wallpaper, and the persona caption painted on it, never showed (SP11 Task 30): the desktop drew monitor0's missing default image and fell back to plain navy. The guard now reads the channel once (xfconf-query -l -v) and keeps both monitor names, plus every monitor/workspace image xfdesktop has written, on the organization's wallpaper, rewriting only a key that differs. A call that does not come back ends the pass, so one stalled session bus stays one bounded call on the idle watcher's thread.
