Re-sending an updated invoice moved its due date forward, which quietly forgave what the customer already owed late. It now keeps its date and only restarts reminders. New charges go onto an unpaid invoice only while it is not yet due; an overdue one keeps its date, and the charges get an invoice of their own (owner, 2026-11-03).
