Stripe (>= 2025-03-31.basil) rejects the legacy usage_type+aggregate_usage metered model ('metered prices must be backed by meters'), so USAGE_BASED add-on prices failed to create — breaking usage-based billing (e.g. sign.pink Business $0.20/signature overage). Now find-or-create a Billing Meter per metered add-on and set recurring.meter on the price. meterEventName(orgId, addonCode) is shared so the usage-submission path emits MeterEvents under the same name.
