Two earlier passes had the stage reaching for the page edge — first overhanging the viewport by 1.5–5rem, then sitting flush against it. Overhanging cropped a product demo, which is content people are meant to watch; flush stopped the cropping but still weighted the composition hard to one side. The reel now sits centred in its own column with symmetric breathing room, balanced against the copy column opposite, on every breakpoint — the full-bleed treatment on small screens goes too, since edge-to-edge there was the same look by another route. The cap and auto margins go on the STAGE, not on the frame inside it. The light rail is positioned against the stage, so constraining the frame alone would strand the rail away from the edge it traces. The 56rem cap only bites on very wide viewports, where a 59fr column would otherwise stretch the reel well past a comfortable viewing size.
