Owner bug 2026-10-28: "Give me a taco recipe" answered with help-center articles under Sources. Retrieval runs before the model answers, so it always returns its nearest guesses (0.28 for the taco question in crm, against 0.25 min-score), and CitationService appended every source the answer had not linked. - The Sources footer lists a retrieved source only when the answer used it without linking it (shares >= 4 meaningful three-word sequences with the passage); a source the answer neither links nor draws on is never listed, so an unrelated answer has no Sources section at all. - The model is told the passages may be unrelated, to ignore them when they are, and to link only what it used. - kamo.rag.min-score 0.25 -> 0.4 (crm: unrelated questions top out at 0.28-0.31, real how-to questions score 0.7-0.8). (REST and socket turns both go through CitationService).
