DocManager brings its own toolbar and grid chrome, so the 32px wrapper padding was only shrinking the grid inside an already-bounded pane. The wrapper stays as the flex item — minHeight 0 is what gives DocManager's height:100% root a definite box to fill — it just no longer insets it.
