Members reported the background manager closing after every upload and every select, only one image appearing on the home slideshow, and the "use own" choice reverting to "use org" on return to My Account. - BackgroundManager: stop closing the dialog after an upload or a select; after a successful upload switch to the grid tab so the new image is visibly confirmed and more can be added without reopening. - MyAccountTab: uploaded images now default isInSlideshow=true (you added them to use them) and uploading flips to "use own", so every upload shows in the home slideshow and the derived preference no longer snaps back to org. Root cause verified against prod: the 3 uploaded rows persist correctly (member/user ids, webp, public URL resolves 200) — the fault was the isInSlideshow=false upload default plus the popup-closing handlers, not storage or retrieval.
