The home band fetched the pinned list once on mount, so a note pinned from its floating sticky afterwards was in no list it held. Closing the sticky then left the launchpad empty until a reload, even though the pin plainly took. Read the band as the union of that fetched snapshot and the floating overlay's note cache, which outlives the route and stays current through the sticky's own pin, colour and text edits. The cached copy wins for a note in both, so an unpin made on the sticky is honoured too rather than painted at its stale mount-time value.
