On a portrait phone the 100x60 viewBox of every layer was being stretched into a tall narrow rectangle, which made the home and foreground look squashed and weird. Switch the structural layers (hills, skyline, home, foreground) to xMidYMax slice so they keep their aspect ratio and bottom-anchor, cropping horizontally instead of stretching. Sky, clouds, and birds keep preserveAspectRatio=none so atmosphere still fills the whole viewport. Hills + foreground paths extend from x=-30 to x=130 so the slice scaling on wide desktops never leaves visible gaps at the screen edges. Chrome: - Rex shrinks to 36px and moves to bottom-right on mobile (it was eating the corner where the CTA breathing room sits); 56px bottom-left on sm+. - LO chip is compact on the hero (smaller avatar, no full-name pill). - Welcome text drops a tier to text-3xl on mobile and the paragraph goes to text-sm so the headline fits without wrapping awkwardly. - CTA cluster pins to bottom-4 (was bottom-6) and goes full-width with left-4/right-4 on mobile so both buttons are thumb-reachable. - The big top-center guide chip is hidden under sm — the JourneyHero's own compact chip in the top-right covers that surface on phones. Build 28/28, no regressions.
