The filter and deliver-group reconciles looked consumers up on the service's configured stream only. Subscriptions to subjects captured by another stream (social.inbound.raw on SOCIAL_MESSAGES, marketing.visitor.* on MARKETING_EVENTS) were never found, so a durable created before the queue group was never recreated and every start was refused with "Existing consumer cannot be modified. Changed fields: [deliverGroup]". Resolve the owning stream by subject and fall back to the configured one.
