- Use xhr-streaming and xhr-polling transports instead of websocket - These transports work with both HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2 without requiring WebSocket upgrades - Avoids HTTP/2 Extended CONNECT issues and Upgrade header forwarding problems - /ws/info requests were timing out (499) with HTTP/2, preventing SockJS from connecting
