The nav row was capped at 1280px, which left the phone cell 82px between Resources and the language button at every desktop width. The number is ~95px and nowrap, so it spilled under the flag (BUG-1200096283021473786). The row now caps at 1440 (NAV_ROW_MAX_WIDTH, which the fixed logo's left offset reads too, so the mark stays over its spacer). The cell is a size container and shows the number only when it holds it, so a viewport just over 1280 hides it instead of overlapping. Measured in headless Chrome: hidden at 1280, shown from ~1326 with 18px+ clear of the flag, 73px from 1440 up; no horizontal overflow at any width.
