A surprising share of a business week is spent moving documents between people and waiting. Getting an approval, generating a contract from the same data for the ninetieth time, chasing a signature, and typing numbers from a scanned statement into a system that could have read them. Each step is individually trivial, which is exactly why it never gets fixed β no single instance is worth a project, and the aggregate is enormous.
What the work involves
- Mapping the process as it actually happens, including the steps nobody admits to
- Document generation from a single data source, so the contract and the record cannot disagree
- Approval chains with delegation, escalation and an audit trail that would survive a dispute
- E-signature with evidence of who signed, when, from where, and that nothing changed afterwards
- Extraction from scanned and photographed documents, with a human review step where accuracy matters
- Retention and deletion rules implemented rather than documented
Why we are credible at this
We built and run collaborative document editing, an e-signature pipeline and optical character recognition inside the platform β and we publish the limitation that our signature capture stores a flattened image rather than stroke data, rather than discovering that in a dispute.
What moves the price
We quote after discovery and the number is fixed before anything starts. These are the things that move it, so you can see roughly where your project sits before you talk to us.
- How many approval paths and exceptions the real process has, as opposed to the documented one
- Whether signatures need to meet a specific legal standard in a specific jurisdiction
- Document quality, if anything is being read from scans or photographs
- Retention obligations, which are often the most constrained part of the design
