Next.js 15 refuses to build when both middleware.ts and proxy.ts exist. The OTK hand-off redirect that lived in middleware.ts — sending any request with ?otk=… to /validate so the OTK actually gets consumed — now lives inside proxy.ts before the auth/access-rule checks. Without this the last four kamo-internal builds failed with 'Both middleware file and proxy file are detected', which is why the deployed image is stale and the ENTER button was working against the old client bundle.
