The DTOs carried quoteContactMode and quoteContactMemberId but no writer read them, so the setting round-tripped through the form and was silently dropped. Both the create and update paths now apply it. The member is kept only under EXPLICIT and cleared otherwise, so a market that switches back does not leave a person behind to be reinstated by a later flip, and EXPLICIT naming nobody is rejected rather than quietly downgraded — the quiet version prints a different name on the next quote than whoever saved the form expected. The lookup is org-scoped: Member ids are globally unique, so an unscoped one would let a tenant name another tenant's staff on its own document.
