Stop the form column stretching to the grid row height

The two-column layout gave the form column no align-self, so it stretched to the row height — and the row is as tall as the TALLER column. Once the form flows into 2-4 columns on a wide screen it becomes shorter than the sticky preview rail, and the stretch left a dead band of page background under the Launch button, tall enough to scroll to. items-start so each column ends at its own content.
