Move a lead to a new Status and Sub Status.
Before you start
An existing lead.
Steps
- Open the lead record.
- Click the status control next to the lead's name at the top of the page (shows the current status, for example "New › New Lead").
- Choose a new Status (for example, App Taken) and a new Sub Status (for example, Processing).
What you'll see
A "Status updated" confirmation toast appears, and the breadcrumb at the top of the lead updates to show the new Status › Sub Status.
Note
Status and Sub Status are two distinct fields — Status is the broad stage, Sub Status is a more specific state within it. Admins configure which labels are available for both.
