The last change lit a tool menu (Mail, Docs, Support, IoT, Settings, Cameras) only when a row's href was exactly the page open, and most rows carried no href at all: they navigate through onSelect, so nothing ever matched outside Settings and IoT, and never on a sub page. - NavToolButton matches a row's page or anything beneath it, the way a route option's href covers its sub pages, and takes `routes`: the areas a tool owns (/messages, /doc, /support, /iot, /settings), so a page none of its rows names — a document open in the editor — still selects it. - The rows that navigate now say where to (href beside onSelect), which also lets the menu light the row for the page that is open. Same in the top bar and the rail, as before.
