Argos reads a short capitalised label as a name and hands it back untranslated: live on 2026-10-05, en->tr "Delete" -> "Delete" and "Cancel" -> "Cancel", en->ar "Company" -> "Company", while "delete." -> "sil." and "company." -> "شركة.". Of 30 kamo-internal labels, tr copied 20, es 15, ar 13 and it 9. That, not failed calls, is what left the dictionary's ar and tr with thousands of English values: the sync of 2026-09-13 re-sent 3,657 ar and 5,617 tr English values and only 2 and 5 of them failed; the rest came back as English. When a reply equals its input and the input is a label (at most 6 words and 60 characters, ending in a letter, digit or parenthesis, with a Title-Case word), the provider asks once more with the Title-Case words in lower case and a full stop, drops the stop from the reply (in Latin, CJK, Devanagari or Urdu spelling) and gives back the leading capital (a Turkish dotted I included). Acronyms, sentinels and inside-out brands keep their spelling. The retry runs inside the existing 100-second budget; if it fails or echoes again, the first reply stands. Measured through an emulation of this rule on the dictionary's own English values: ar 36 and tr 33 of their 41 and 38 sampled English values now translate. Tests: LibreTranslateEchoTest 9 (new); LibreTranslateAmpersandTest's fr echo now also shows the sentence-form request.
