The withdraw-by-source read (findBySourceTypeAndSourceId) and the IoT alarm's withdraw-by-prefix (StartingWith -> LIKE 'x%') had only the member-led index, so both read the table. Range-sharded ASC, ASC so a prefix is a range scan on YugabyteDB (collation C). Hand-applied 2026-10-19 03:43 UTC (valid + ready); EXPLAIN shows an Index Scan for both shapes.
