The SI Assistant's client called /api/ai/assistant/... but kamo-internal had no route there, so every call (settings, held actions, memory, tool areas, the org defaults' layers) answered with the app's own 404 page and the window said "Your assistant's settings could not be loaded." for everyone. Forward the whole family to AIService unchanged (aiFamilyRoute), which checks the caller on each route and returns the defaults for a member who never saved anything. A failed read now says why in plain words (AIService's own sentence, an ended sign-in, or a service that cannot be reached), keeps Try again visible (disabled while it retries), and the header no longer says Loading after a failure.
