A per-member backgroundTone ui-preference (0 white / 50 full color / 100 black) rendered as a wash above the readability scrim in both the console slideshow layer and the editor's WYSIWYG stage. Slider lives in the Stage's media chrome with live drag preview, center snap, and persist-on-release.
