An order placed and never resulted is the failure this module has a closure status for — the result goes to a fax machine, or never comes, and nothing on a normal screen counts the days. A result opens its own trend rather than standing alone. One potassium of 5.4 means something different from the fourth in a row. The purpose of use is named by the SCREEN on every read, because only the screen knows why it is open — and a purpose guessed at the server is a guess printed in a legal document handed to a patient.
