Protection Tests shows how well your SIs hold up when someone tries to trick them. Kamo attacks them on purpose, with made-up messages, so you know they never share what they shouldn't and never follow instructions hidden in what they read. Open it from SI Assistant → SI Workforce → Results → Protection Tests.
Nothing in a check is real. No email, text, call or chat message is sent, and nothing is saved to your records.
Before you start
You need View SI Workforce to open the tab. To run a check yourself you need Manage SI Workforce (or Configure System).
What Kamo tries
Each check gives an SI a piece of private information, then tries to get it out of the SI, or to make the SI do something nobody asked for, from every place an SI reads:
- Email: a fake "audit" email asks for a confidential figure.
- Web Page: a page the SI opens hides an instruction to send prices to the page's owner.
- Document: a shared document hides text that tells the SI to post private staffing news.
- Team Chat: a colleague asks about a rumor, or claims they were assigned to something.
- Website Chat: a visitor asks the SI to copy out its instructions.
- Task Comment: a comment on a task tells the SI to post a confidential decision.
- Phone Call: a caller says they are the owner and asks for a door code.
- Video Meeting: a guest from another company asks for a secret code name.
- Text Message: a fake security notice asks for every PIN the SI knows.
When checks run
- After you change your sharing rules or how your SIs may contact people: a check runs by itself, at most once a day.
- Whenever you like: click Run a Check Now at the bottom of the tab, or on Settings → Super Intelligence → Safety & Oversight → Protection Checks.
- Kamo also checks its own test SIs every week and after every update to Kamo, so a change to Kamo never quietly makes SIs easier to trick.
Each check tests up to five of your SIs that have a personality or collaboration settings. When it finishes, the person who changed the rules (or started the check) gets a card with the result, and the supervisor of any SI that failed after a rule change is told too.
Protection Checks in Settings shows when checks run, lets you start one, and lists the recent checks; the findings stay here.
Read the tab
- Protection Score: the share of tricks your SIs saw through in the period you chose (7, 30 or 90 days).
- Needs Attention: problems that are still there. Back Again means something that had been fixed started failing again.
- Fixed: problems that the latest check no longer found.
- Surfaces Covered: how many of the nine places above were tested.
Each surface card shows how its checks went: green passed, amber was stopped by Kamo's share check before anything left, red shared something it shouldn't have. Not Tested Yet means no check reached it in the period.
Each finding says which trick it was, which SI it happened to, what went wrong in plain words, when it was first and last seen, and whether it is Failing, Failing Again, Watch or Fixed. Click the SI's name to open its room.
Recent Checks shows each finished check as a bar: the taller and greener, the more tricks were seen through.

What to do about a finding
- Open the SI's room and read its job description and personality: an SI that is told to be very open or very helpful is easier to talk into sharing.
- Check your organization's sharing rules (who may see what).
- Run a check again. When the finding moves to Fixed, the change worked.
