Stop every AI member in your organization at once, for example while you investigate something one of them did, or while you change how they are set up. Then start them again.
Before you start
You need Manage AI Workforce. People with View AI Workforce can open the page and see where each AI member stands, but cannot pause or resume them all.
Pause them all
- Go to Settings → Artificial Intelligence → Workforce controls.
- Click Pause all AI members.
- Optionally enter a Reason. It is kept in the access log.
- Click Pause all.
Every AI member stops at once and is signed out everywhere. A run in progress stops at its next step. Nothing is deleted and nobody's permissions change. The page then says Every AI member is paused, with who paused them and when.
While they are paused:
- calls to an AI member's extension go to the fallback extension set for your phone system;
- an AI member in a meeting says it has to step out, and leaves;
- new email, chat messages and tasks still arrive in their mailboxes and lists, and wait there.
Resume them all
Click Resume all. AI members can work again: each one checks in and catches up from its records, the unread mail, open tasks and conversations that arrived meanwhile.
An AI member that its supervisor had paused on its own before stays paused until its supervisor resumes it. Resuming one AI member from its profile does not lift the pause on everyone.
Pausing one AI member
To stop a single AI member, its supervisor pauses it from its profile instead; see How to Supervise an AI Team Member.
The platform kill switch
If the page says KamoAI is stopped platform-wide, Kamo has stopped every AI member on the platform. That overrides this page: nothing you do here starts them again until a Kamo platform operator does.
If it doesn't work
"AI Workforce is not enabled for this organization." The app is off, so there is nothing to pause. An administrator turns it on under Settings → My Account → Apps & Features.
There's no Pause all button. You don't have Manage AI Workforce.
