Bring contacts into a book from a .vcf (vCard) file exported from another address book.
Before you start
A .vcf or .vcard file, and at least one contact book to import into.
Steps
- On the Contacts page, click Import in the list panel's toolbar.
- Choose the Target book the imported contacts should land in.
- Drag your
.vcffile onto the drop area, or click it to browse for the file. Only.vcf/.vcardfiles are accepted. - Click Import.
What you'll see
A summary reports how many contacts were imported. If any cards in the file had nothing to identify them (no name, email, or organization), they're skipped and the count of skipped cards is shown alongside the import count — nothing is silently dropped without being reported.
