Paycor authorizes over OAuth, which makes this one of the quickest payroll connections to stand up: an administrator approves KamoCRM from inside Paycor and the legal entity is detected on connect rather than typed in. From there, approved timecards push against the open pay period with labor allocation attached, the employee directory syncs in on work email, and pay periods and PTO balances read back so leave and deadlines match what payroll holds.

Is there an API key to manage?
No. Paycor uses OAuth, so access is granted and revoked from inside Paycor and no long-lived secret is stored.
Do we have to enter our legal entity?
No. It is detected when you connect. If your Paycor account holds more than one, you confirm which is in scope during setup.
Can we connect a test tenant first?
Yes. The environment is a setting on the connection, so you can validate against a non-production tenant and switch when you are satisfied.
What happens to an unmapped earning code?
The sync reports it and names the code rather than dropping the hours. Map it once and re-run the period.
Does KamoCRM calculate or file anything?
No. Paycor calculates, files, and pays. KamoCRM supplies approved hours and reads back what Paycor holds.
