Write a new Knowledge Base article.
Before you start
Access to the Knowledge Base.
Steps
- Go to Knowledge Base, then click New Article (or Create Article).
- Fill in:
- Title — required.
- Slug — auto-generated from the title; edit it directly if you want a different URL.
- Parent (optional) — pick another article to nest this one under, or leave it "None — Top Level."
- Set Visible To — check any combination of Members, Team Members, and Public.
- Toggle Train AI on if this article should be searchable by the AI chat assistant once published (see What is a Knowledge Base article? for how this interacts with status).
- Write the article body in the editor below — supports rich text plus embedded media.
- Click Create Article.
What you'll see
The article saves as a Draft, visible in the article tree, and opens on its own page. It isn't published or visible to its intended audience yet — see How to Review and Publish Knowledge Base Articles for the next step.
