KamoCRM is one place for the work a business does every day — instead of a CRM here, an email client there, a phone system somewhere else, and a shared drive nobody can find anything in.
The short version
It holds the people you sell to, the conversations you have with them, the files you exchange, the hours your team works, and the money that changes hands. Because those live together, the things that normally require copying information between systems simply don't.
A call comes in, and the person's record is already on screen. A document gets signed, and it's attached to the customer it belongs to. Somebody clocks out, and their hours are already in the pay period.
What's actually in it
You won't use all of this, and you're not meant to. Each area is switched on or off for your organization.
Area | What it's for |
|---|---|
Client Relations Manager | Leads, customers, and the sales work in between |
Communications | Email, chat, video meetings, phone and text |
Documents and Knowledge | Files, documents, and your own internal guides |
Commerce | Orders, fulfillment and payment |
Marketing | Materials, bulk email and social posting |
Human Resources | Time cards, payroll, training and legal documents |
Calendar, Contacts, Notes | The everyday tools |
AI Assistant | Answers questions about your work and your own guides |
Analytics | What's happening on your website |
How it's organized
Organizations are the top level — usually your company. A group of related companies can be a network of them.
Members and team members are the two kinds of person in an organization. Roughly: team members are your staff, members are the people you serve. Members vs. Team Members Explained covers the distinction properly, because it decides a great deal.
Security roles decide what each person can do. Almost every "why can't I see that" question comes back to a role.
What it isn't
It isn't an accounting system, and it isn't a replacement for one. It tracks what was sold and what was paid; your books still live in your accounting package.
It also isn't configured out of the box for your business. Markets, vendors, roles and labels all need a decision from somebody who knows how you work. Setting Up Your Organization: A Checklist is the order to make those decisions in.
