Pin, favorite, or recolor a note — on the wall or in the editor — for one note or several at once.
Steps
One note, from the wall
- Hover a note card and use its Pin and Favorite (star) buttons directly on the card, or click the palette icon to recolor it.
- With a note focused (click it once, don't open it), press P to toggle pin or F to toggle favorite as a shortcut.
One note, from the editor
- Open the note.
- Use the pin, favorite (star), and palette icons in its toolbar the same way.
Several notes at once
- On the wall, click a note's checkbox to select it (or press X while it's focused). Shift-click extends the selection from the last note you checked.
- A bulk action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many notes are selected, with Pin, Add to favorites, a color swatch, and Delete. Pick the action — it applies to every selected note.
- Click Select all to select everything currently shown, or Clear to drop the selection.
What you'll see
Pinned notes surface at the top of the wall in their own band; favorited notes are reachable from the Favorites quick filter; a note's color shows as its card background and is filterable from the sidebar. Bulk actions apply the same change to every note you had selected.
